§ 78. Mr. Shurmerasked the Minister of Education what action she proposes to take to provide the necessary primary schools on new housing estates in the city of Birmingham where the problem, at the present rate of school building, will not be solved until 1958.

Friend accepted them all. For their 1954–55 programme they have proposed 11 primary school projects to serve new housing estates and my right hon. Friend is about to accept them all.
