§ 71. Mr. Sorensenasked the Minister of Works why the covering of turf and the erection of stands in Parliament Square was not delayed until nearer the date of the Coronation; and how long after that date it is anticipated the stands on that site will be removed and the amenities restored.
§ Mr. EcclesWork began on the latest date which would enable a job of this size to be completed in time without undue expenditure. The stands will be removed by the middle of August, after which the site will be restored as soon as possible.
