§ Mr. Edeasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department when the next meeting of the Police Council will be held; and if he expects that at that meeting the still unresolved questions arising from the second part of the Oaksey Committee's Report will be resolved between the various interests represented on the council.
§ Sir D. Maxwell FyfeIt is proposed to hold the next meeting of the Police Council in the middle of March. The question of negotiating machinery will be further considered at that meeting, but I do not think I should attempt to forecast the outcome of the discussion.
