§ Mr. Lewisasked the Minister of Civil Aviation whether he can give an assurance that adequate safety precautions are being maintained by British European Airways Corporation, in view of the use of a spare set of faulty accumulators on 5th December, 1950, in the passenger Dakota G—AGHS, and other faulty equipment, details of which have been supplied to him.
§ Mr. ProfumoYes. As I stated in my reply to the hon. Member on 4th February, I am satisfied that the allegations that British European Airways Corporation used faulty equipment are without foundation.
