Class of Pension Responsible Department 19. Sundry pensions* payable to former officers of the Indian, Burmese, and Palestine Civil and Fighting Services. C.R.O Foreign Office Colonial Office 20. Pensions payable to officers who were employed, and to medical and dental practitioners who provided services in the National Health Service (other than persons employed by Local Health Authorities). Ministry of Health Department of Health for Scotland 21. Pensions payable to pensioners of former voluntary hospitals. 22. Pensions payable to members of the Judiciary. [Charged on the consolidated Fund] Treasury 23. Pensions payable to members of the Royal Household. 24. Pension to Mr. Speaker Clifton Brown. 25. Pensions to the Comptroller and Auditor General. Note 1. In addition, Exchequer grant is paid on the following classes of pensions:— (a) Local government employees; (b) Local health authority employees; (c) Police officers and special constables; (d) Members of local authority fire brigades; (e) Teachers. Note 2. Pensions payable to the staff of non-Governmental bodies which receive grants from public funds are not included. align="center">* The cost of applying pensions increase to certain other pensioners.
