asked the Minister of Materials, in view of the difficult situation that has arisen in respect to the supply of domestic hides and calf skins with the consequent increase in the price of leather, if he will take action reinstitute ceiling prices.

No. Supplies of domestic hides and calf skins always decline at this season of the year, and current leather prices show no advance on those at this time last year.
