HC Deb 17 December 1953 vol 522 c104W
114. Mr. Emrys Hughes

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he is aware of the disquiet prevailing in Scotland as a result of evidence given in the recent trial at Edinburgh when certain persons were charged with conspiracy to over throw Her Majesty's Government in Scotland; and if he will institute a public inquiry into the use of agents provocateur.

Mr. J. Stuart

I have nothing to add to the reply which I gave to Questions by the hon. Members for Orkney and Shetland (Mr. Grimond) and Tradeston (Mr. Rankin) on 15th December, of which I am sending the hon. Member a copy.
