§ 99. Mr. Errollasked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether the Air Information Directorate has yet ascertained from the station commander at Tarrant Rushton aerodrome the correct elevation of this airfield; and if he will publish in the Official Report the full reply of the station commander in the interests of air safety and for the benefit of aircraft diverted to this aerodrome.
Mr. WardMy hon. Friend will be pleased to know that this controversy between the Aeronautical Information Document Unit and Tarrant Rushton about a possible variation of one foot in the elevation of the airfield has now been amicably settled.
The answer to the second part of the Question is: "No." It would be most unusual to publish documents of this kind, and, if I were to yield to the temptation to do so here, it would be more for the diversion of Members than the diversion of aircraft.
