§ Mrs. Mannasked the Secretary of State for Scotland why Hugh Green, 119, W. George Street, Coatbridge, who was arrested on 22nd November and sentenced to 60 days' imprisonment on 23rd November, was not permitted by the police to instruct his relatives regarding his defence; and why his wife, and parents, were refused permission to interview him regarding these instructions.
