asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation the estimated number of vehicles that would pass annually over the proposed Tay road bridge and Forth road bridge and through the proposed Whiteinch tunnel.

For a bridge over the Tay near Dundee about 500,000; for the Forth Bridge about 1,000,000; for the Whiteinch Tunnel about 1,500,000.
