HC Deb 10 December 1953 vol 521 c265W
69. Mr. Snow

asked the Minister of Health what subvention is made to doctors who, having passed a qualifying medical degree, decide to complete a further two years' training in order to qualify for appointments as medical officers of health; and how such subventions compare with salaries received by newly-qualified doctors who work as house surgeons in hospitals for a similar period.

Miss Hornsby-Smith

None. The second part of the Question does not, therefore, arise.
