HC Deb 09 December 1953 vol 521 c250W
132. Mr. Beswick

asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation when he expects to be able to make a statement about the future of British Commonwealth Pacific Airways; and whether he will give an assurance that along the route now served by British Commonwealth Pacific Airways he will retain such traffic rights as may be necessary for the possible use of British Overseas Airways Corporation.

Mr. Profumo

Until the plans discussed in Christchurch in October for the future operation of Pacific and Tasman air services have been fully studied by Governments and conclusions reached, my right hon. Friend is unable to make any statement.
