Jonesasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation what representations he has received from interested bodies pressing him to exercise the power vested in him to direct the British Transport Commission to dispose of some of its holdings in passenger transport services, as provided for in Section 18 (6) of the Transport Act, 1953; and whether he will keep the House advised of such representations by interested parties.
