§ Mr. J. StuartThe Herring Industry Board, with the aid of Exchequer grant, are providing additional factory capacity and buy surplus herring at a subsidised price for reduction to oil and meal. Both they and the White Fish Authority are prepared to consider applications from private concerns for loans for the provision or extension of processing plants.
