§ Mr. J. Johnsonasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what action is being taken as a result of the publication of the Storey Report on the Lagos Town Council.
§ Mr. LytteltonThe Western Regional Government dissolved the Lagos Town Council last February and appointed a committee of management to discharge its functions. New legislation has since been introduced designed to remedy the main faults disclosed by the Storey Report. A new council was elected in November. I would also refer the hon. Member to the reply I gave to his Question on 2nd December.
