§ Mr. Viantasked the Minister of Health whether any means have been devised to follow the medical history of school-leavers who undergo B.C.G. inoculation; and how, should such persons subsequently develop tuberculosis, can the fact that they had been inoculated be ascertained in the case of those who leave the area in which the inoculations were performed.
§ Mr. Iain MacleodLocal health authorities have already been advised to keep records of the vaccination of older school children together with information on their follow-up. These records should enable the date of a particular inoculation to be ascertained later by communication between the authorities concerned.
