38. Mr. K. Thompson

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will draw the attention of the Mersey-side and North Wales Electricity Board to the nuisance and discomfort suffered by Liverpool residents as a result of the smoke and effluent issuing from the chimneys of the Liverpool, Clarence Dock, Power Station; and if he will take steps to see that this nuisance is abated as a matter of urgency.
