Mr. Haleasked the Minister of National Insurance whether he is aware of the hardship being caused to widows and others in receipt of a 10s. pension by the fact that there has been no increase in this pension notwithstanding the increase in the cost of living; and what steps he proposes to take to remedy the matter.
§ Mr. PeakeI would refer the hon. Member to the very full discussion of this point on 15th May last in Committee on the recent National Insurance Bill. I see no reason for departing from the Committee's decision on it.
