§ 65. Mr. G. Thomasasked the Minister of Education the number of new school kitchens and canteens which were provided in Wales during 1949, 1950 and 1951; and the number upon which construction has started since October, 1951.
§ Miss HorsbrughThe numbers of new school kitchens and canteens brought into use in Wales in each of the years ending October, 1949, 1950 and 1951 were respectively 103, 64 and 19. The number upon which construction is known to have started since October, 1951 is 19, but there may be others involving only minor building work of which authorities are not bound to notify my Department.
