§ Sir D. Maxwell FyfeWhile I sympathise with the object which the hon. Member has in mind, I do not think that this would be a suitable or effective way of dealing with the problem of dangerous weapons.
§ 86. Mr. Proctorasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will appoint a committee to advise him upon the desirability and practicability of prohibiting the sale of dangerous weapons as toys to children.
§ Sir D. Maxwell FyfeI am considering various suggestions which have been made with regard to the sale of toy weapons, and I will bear the hon. Member's suggestion in mind.
