Maxwell FyfeMy right hon. and learned Friend the Minister of Labour and I, in consultation with the other Departments concerned, are collaborating with a view to securing a greater volume of work for priority suppliers such as the Prison Commission and Remploy. We do not expect that an extension of prisoners' working hours would have any such effect as the hon. Member suggests.
