§ Mr. Geoffrey LloydAllocations are normally made on the basis of full consumption requirements, with provision for stockbuilding in the summer and for stocklifting in the winter. At the request of my right hon. Friend the Minister of Supply deliveries to the iron foundries are at the present time being made on a somewhat lower scale, in order to help to meet the shortage of supplies for the blast furnaces.
