Maxwell FyfeBetween 1st January, 1946, and 30th September, 1951, proceedings were taken against 6,329 persons for ill-treatment or neglect of 223W children and 5.809 persons were found guilty. I do not know and have no means of ascertaining how many of these cases concerned boarding schools.
