HC Deb 13 March 1952 vol 497 c150W
81. Colonel Clarke

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many thefts took place from lorries belonging to British Road Services vehicles during the six months ended 31st December, 1951, within the Metropolitan Police district; and in how many cases these vehicles had been left unattended.

Sir D. Maxwell Fyfe

The Commissioner of Police informs me that this information could not be collated without a special inquiry which would absorb a greater amount of police time than would be justified.
