HC Deb 04 March 1952 vol 497 c41W
101. Mr. Woodburn

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether his attention has been called to the hopeful results of the use of isonicotinic acid hydrazide in the treatment of tuberculosis; and whether he can give an assurance that steps are being taken to test and follow up the possibilities claimed.

Mr. J. Stuart

The right hon. Member has no doubt in mind Press reports of results obtained in America. Under Medical Research Council auspices, laboratory tests of this and related drugs have already begun in this country.
