HC Deb 04 March 1952 vol 497 cc47-8W
Mr. Legh

asked the Minister of Health what discussions he has had with the Society of Chiropodists about the recommendations of the appropriate Cope Committee on Medical Auxiliaries; and how far he is proposing to introduce legislation in the near future to give effect to the Committee's recommendations on the establishment of official registration machinery.

Mr. Crookshank

No discussions have yet taken place, as I have not yet received the written observations of all the bodies concerned on the memorandum I have sent to them. Until discussions have been held it would be premature to consider the question of legislation.
