§ Mr. Leghasked the Minister of Health what discussions he has had with the Society of Chiropodists about the recommendations of the appropriate Cope Committee on Medical Auxiliaries; and how far he is proposing to introduce legislation in the near future to give effect to the Committee's recommendations on the 48W establishment of official registration machinery.
§ Mr. CrookshankNo discussions have yet taken place, as I have not yet received the written observations of all the bodies concerned on the memorandum I have sent to them. Until discussions have been held it would be premature to consider the question of legislation.
