§ 82. Sir H. Roperasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will extend to all 100 per cent. disabled war pensioners over the age of 65 years the concession now applicable to old age pensioners whereby they receive tobacco subject to reduced rates of duty.
§ Mr. Boyd-CarpenterI have reviewed this matter, but I am afraid that the objections that have hitherto precluded any extension of the field of Tobacco Duty relief are still decisive.
