HC Deb 21 February 1952 vol 496 c68W
Sir A. Hudson

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether, in view of the uncertainty amongst members of the Royal Auxiliary Air Force, he will make a statement on the Government's policy with regard to continuous periods of training outside the normal auxiliary training obligation during 1952.

Mr. Birch

The special three months' training for which the Auxiliary Fighter Squadrons were called up last year will not be repeated. This applies not only to those called up last time but to all those who have joined up since or will do so in the future. I can at the same time give an assurance that no other members of the Royal Auxiliary Air Force will be called up for special training in this or future years.
