Taylorasked the Minister of Transport if he will make a statement as to the progress of the soundings for the Forth Road Bridge at the Mackintosh Rock site; and if he will give an assurance that this project, in view of its economic and strategic importance to the nation, will be proceeded with if the soundings are satisfactory.
