§ Mr. Fernyhoughasked the Minister of Works what he estimates will be the cost of taking up the turf and shrubs and the various other work which will be carried out in Parliament Square in connection with the erection of stands there for the purpose of the Coronation; and the estimated cost of the restoration work when the stands are taken down.
§ Mr. EcclesFive small trees will be removed and replanted. The amount of restoration work to the turf depends on weather conditions while the stands are being put up and in use. The total cost of all the work involved is estimated at £250.
