§ 129. Mr. Beswickasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government on what information and figures of half-way house accommodation available and of estimated cases of eviction he bases his decision that no further steps are required in the county of Middlesex to prevent hardship to homeless families this winter.
§ Mr. MarplesThere are 76 half-way houses in Middlesex providing for 740 families. If the accommodation thus provided is used as a temporary expedient as has always been the intention, it should be sufficient for its purpose.
