§ 68. Mr. Harold Daviesasked the Secretary of State for War to what location the former British garrison in Bermuda has now been transferred; and what financial aid is now being made by Her Majesty's Government to the defence of the Colony.
§ Mr. HeadThe withdrawal of the British garrison will not be completed until 1st May next year. It will not be transferred elsewhere as a unit, but the men released will be absorbed into existing units. No financial aid towards the defence of Bermuda will be made.
