HC Deb 29 November 1951 vol 494 c172W
90. Mr. G. Williams

asked the Minister of Health how many patients suffering from tuberculosis have so far been sent to Switzerland for treatment; and how many per month will go in the future.

Mr. Crookshank

One hundred and thirty patients from England and Wales have gone to Switzerland for treatment within the National Health Service. This is the full number of beds contracted for in Swiss sanatoria, and no more patients will go out until the time comes to replace those now there.
