The hon. Member is no doubt referring to a preliminary survey of the Okovango area financed from Colonial Development and Welfare funds, described by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State's predecessor in reply to a Question by the hon. Member for Leyton (Mr. Sorensen) on 14th June, 1951. This survey is still in progress and will not be completed before 1953.
