§ Mr. LytteltonThe campaign against Communist-inspired terrorism cannot be pursued by military action alone. I intend during my visit to Malaya to see as much as possible of the other counter-measures already in force and to discuss further measures with responsible officers on the spot.
§ 96. Mr. Awberyasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will arrange during his forthcoming visit to South-East Asia to meet representatives of the trade unions in Singapore and Malaya, in order to obtain a clear picture of the industrial position in that area.
