§ Major Lloyd GeorgeAs stated in my reply to the hon. Member for Huntingdon (Mr. Renton) on 12th November, a joint examination of the possible alternatives to the agene process is at present being undertaken by the Departments concerned in association with representatives of the milling and baking industries. Until I have a report of this examination, I cannot furnish the hon. Member with a full list of the substitutes under consideration. The date of discontinuation of the present agene treatment will depend on the outcome of this investigation.
