HC Deb 15 November 1951 vol 493 c71W
Mr. Hastings

asked the Minister of Health what is the annual cost of treatment of tuberculosis in hospitals and sanatoria, and in the home.

Mr. Crookshank

I regret that this information is not available. Much tuberculosis treatment is comprised within the work of general hospitals and it would be hard to separate its cost. Nor is it practicable to keep separate account of how much of the cost of the general practitioner service is attributable to domiciliary treatment of tuberculosis patients.
