HC Deb 15 November 1951 vol 493 cc71-2W
Mr. Burden

asked the Minister of Health if, in view of the delay which now ensues between the prescribing of a deaf aid to be supplied under the National Health Service and the actual provision of the aid, he will issue a direction to hospital authorities that patients shall be told how long it will be before they receive their deaf aid, thus giving them an opportunity if they so desire to purchase this privately.

Mr. Crookshank

I regret the delay that still continues but I do not think this is a matter calling for any general direction by me.
