Smithersasked the Minister of Health if he will set up an independent committee, presided over by a prominent King's Counsel, to make an investigation regarding the dismissal of Mr. John Griffith from his appointment on a hospital management committee, particulars of which have been sent to him.
§ Mr. MarquandMr. Griffith was secretary of the committee. The appointment and dismissal of hospital staff are matters for the hospital authority concerned, and I am not prepared to intervene.
