HC Deb 10 May 1951 vol 487 cc245-6W
54. Mr. Donnelly

asked the Minister of Agriculture what steps he is now taking to reopen the question of coracle fishermen's licences on the River Teifi in view of the Pembroke County Council's recent resolution.

Mr. T. Williams

It is not for me to initiate steps to reopen this question. Until this morning I have not received any representations about it since my hon. Friend raised it on the Adjournment in November last, but I have now been furnished with a copy of a resolution passed by the Pembrokeshire County Council and supported by the Cardiganshire County Council which I am sending to the South-West Wales River Board for them to consider in the first instance.
