§ Mr. J. GriffithsLatest available figures show that there are 226 registered trade unions in the British West African territories, with a total membership of about 155,000. One hundred of these unions were represented at the recent trade union conference organised by the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions held at Doula in the French Cameroons between 5th and 7th March.
