HC Deb 21 March 1951 vol 485 cc300-1W
Mr. Granville

asked the Minister of Local Government and Planning if he will consider the question of bringing piped water to the village of Yaxley, in view of the fact that during the last two summers all but one of the public wells dried up and the inhabitants were forced to carry supplies from tanks, which in some instances involved crossing the busy Ipswich—Norwich Road.

Mr. Dalton

This question is part of a much larger scheme proposed by the Hartismere Rural District Council, which I am now considering.
