asked the Minister of Fuel and Power if he is now in a position to make a further statement on the progress made in supplying machinery for the suppression of dust in the slate quarries of North Wales.

Equipment for dust extraction has been fully installed by some undertakings in North Wales; in others, there has been some delay. As I told my hon. Friend a month ago, H.M. Inspectors have been investigating the causes of this delay, and I hope shortly to receive a comprehensive report.
