asked the Minister of Food whether, in the interests of economy in time and labour, he will add to the ordinary ration the amount of sugar available for special issues for domestic jam making, for the period during which the special issue is in force.

Mr. F. Willey

I think the housewives prefer to have what extra sugar we can give them for jam making in the form of a bonus rather than a temporary addition to the ration, and no extra work is involved.
