asked the Postmaster-General how many applications for telephones in the Mountview and Tudor exchanges remain unsatisfied; how these figures compare with the same period in 1949; and how many of the present subscribers on these two exchanges have had to share a line.

One thousand, six hundred and eighty-seven and 549 at the end of 1950; 1,969 and 1,064 at the end of 1949. Seven hundred and eighty-two subscribers at Mountview and 716 at Tudor have shared service.
