Mr. Baldwinasked the Minister of Works whether he is aware of the present dilapidated condition of the United Kingdom Branch of the Commonwealth Association rooms in Westminster Hall; and what steps he proposes to take to reinstate the premises into a condition worthy to receive overseas visitors.
§ Mr. StokesYes. Reinstatement of these rooms, which were war damaged, will be carried out towards the end of 1951. Meanwhile the Commonwealth Association have been offered alternative accommodation in the northern end of the Westminster Hall Annexe.
