§ Mr. RobensIncluding both regular and casual workers, but excluding working principals, the numbers employed in agriculture at March, 1951, were: England, 611,800; Wales, 45,900; Scotland, 102,200. Since February, 1946, no man employed as a regular whole-time agricultural worker in one of the main agricultural occupations has been called up under the National Service Acts and very few of those employed in subsidiary occupations. The precise number in the latter category is not known.
