§ 99. Sir H. Williamsasked the Minister of Transport what grant has been made by his Department to the highway authorities in respect of the number plates which 72W they have fixed to lamp-posts in their areas.
§ Mr. BarnesWhen lamp-posts are numbered in a new or improved system of street lighting approved by me on a trunk road, the cost is included in the costs of the installation towards which I normally contribute 50 per cent. Otherwise, my Department makes no grant for this purpose.
