§ Mr. G. R. StraussYes. I know that the closing of sections of the Sheffield steel plants has caused dislocation of steel supplies. The needs of defence and essential civilian production will be safeguarded by the arrangements announced by my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer last Thursday.
