HC Deb 02 July 1951 vol 489 c192W
105. Mr. Turton

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what is the amount of gross fixed investment that will be devoted to agriculture, forestry and fishing in the current financial year; and how this amount compares with the amount allocated to these industries in the two previous financial years.

Mr. J. Edwards

Statistics are not available on a financial year basis. It is estimated that, in common with investment for all civil purposes, gross fixed investment in agriculture, forestry and fishing in 1951 will be less than in 1950 and about the same as in 1949.
